Working pattern updated
This refers to your working hours and pattern of work and will affect how your absences are booked and leave calculated.

Notifications are received in relation to documents that have specific actions required as well as when the document is uploaded, if the option to notify has been selected.
Notify of upload
If selected by your employer, you will be notified when a document has been uploaded in to your personal folder or in the company documents folder.
Read receipts & acceptance
When your employer uploads a document, they can choose to set something called a read receipt and acceptance. this just records when you have read the document and also allows you to accept the contents.
When this has been set, you will be given a notification to let you know it is due.
Document follow-up expiry
When uploading a document, one of the options you can add is a follow-up date which will send notifications based on this.
Notifications for rotas will not only inform the employee of assigned shifts or shift changes, it can also serve to notify the creator of the rota if an open shift is accepted for example.
When a shift is assigned, amended, or deleted
Whenever a change is made to a shift you're assigned to, you will receive a notification. This only applies to rotas that have been published.

After being assigned to a rota, a notification is sent as well as any changes to the rota too.
When an open shift is offered to you / edited / deleted
If your employer adds open shifts to a rota, you will be notified to make you aware it is available to you.

Mandatory absences can be assigned by the system admin and will generally be absences during a shutdown period.

When you're off sick and your employer requires a fit note from you to certify your return to work, they may request this through BrightHR.
Absence approved / declined / updated
Whenever you request an absence, you will receive updates when anything happens with it.
Overtime
When overtime is logged, this would go to your manager for approval. When overtime is logged by your manager, this will automatically approve.
Notifications are received when: * Overtime is approved as TOIL or Payable. * Payable overtime has been marked as paid. * Overtime has been logged. * Notifications are sent as push notifications and via email.
